So I just came across this series on Yahoo! called Mansome.  It’s a video guide to help men be more, manly?  Giving advice on everything from clothes, sports, women, and food.  Here is one of their newer videos about getting the right suit.

Needless to say, Yahoo! messed up here.  All corny jokes aside in the series, the suit doesn’t fit in the beginning and it doesn’t fit at the end.  The video neglects to mention the fact that YOU CANNOT ALTER SHOULDERS.  Doing so is extremely expensive, not worth your time, and in the end doesn’t look right.  The tailor in the video takes a suit from bad, to slightly less bad.  In the video, they also neglect to mention how much all that tailoring cost.  My guess to get everything done that they show the tailor doing, he is getting close to $400 - the original price of the suit.  If this is the case, he could just go buy a suit that has a better initial fit.  Use a tailor - always.  But, be realistic about what a tailor can do for you, and when to cut your losses and realize its not a good investment.

Mansome - I’m sorry but once again you have come up short in the clothing department.
